The TP-Link AC1750 is bulky and thick, it has roughly the size and shape of a 6.5 inch smartphone. When you look at the front of the AC1750, you will see that it has a large RE and WPS button coupled to an LED ring of light around its outer edge. Find your TP-Link AC1750 router IP address

We need to know the internal IP address of your TP-Link AC1750 router before you can connect to it.

Connecting to the TP-Link AC1750 router

The TP-Link AC1750 has a web interface for configuration. You can use any web browser to connect to the TP-Link AC1750. In this example, we will use Internet Explorer.

Enter the internal IP address of the TP-Link AC1750

Put the internal IP address of your TP-Link AC1750 in the address bar of your web browser. Then press the Enter key on your keyboard. A dialog box asking for your TP-Link AC1750 user name and password should be displayed.

How to reset your router

There is a difference between rebooting a router and rebooting a router. When you restart your router, it means that you turn it on. Reset your router involves restoring its factory settings.

You may have forgotten the password for your router and now want to reset it. You must first reset the router to its factory settings and then use the default password to access your router.

How to restart your router

Restarting a router means turning it on. If you want to restart your router, follow these steps:

  1. Disconnect the power connector on the back of the router, and then reconnect it.
  2. Wait about 30 seconds for the router to reboot.
  3. Your Internet connection will be interrupted when your router is rebooted. If someone uses a computer on your network to access the Internet, you can notify them.

How to reset your router

When you reset your router, the following settings are changed:

  1. Username and password of the router
  2. Wi-Fi username and password
  3. ISP username and password
  4. Any portport you have configured
  5. All firewall settings you have defined
  6. Basically, any configuration changes you made to your router. As you can probably see in the list above, resetting your router is a serious matter. Proceed with caution.
  7. To reset your router, look for the small reset button usually located on the back of the router.
  8. When the router is powered on, use a pin or the end of a paper clip to press and hold the reset button. You will have to wait about 10 seconds.
  9. As a general rule, you will want to wait for the LEDs on the router to change. Depending on the make and model of your router, the lights may start to blink and stay lit or start blinking.
  10. When you release the reset button, the router must be reset to the factory settings.
