How to fix Office 365 Activation Blank Screen problem
Method 1:
- You can also start the computer in clean boot mode and then try to check that the office suite is trying to activate.
- Starting a computer in clean boot mode will disable all non-Microsoft applications and antivirus which may be the cause of this problem.
Note: Ensure to restart your computer in normal mode after completing the troubleshooting steps.
Method 2:
- If the problem persists, try creating a new Windows user account and then try Activating an office suite to check that it is working . To make it, follow the steps given below.
- Press Windows key and select Control Panel.
- Click on User accounts and Family Safety.
- Click on the user account and then click on Manage Accounts.
- Now click Add a new user and follow the instructions.
- Sign out of the current user account and log in using a new user account to activate Office 365. Check if the problem persists
How do I Check My Installation?
- Open the Office 2016 Word application.
- Choose a blank page.
- Click Home to the top left and click on the account.
- In account, you will see that you are using "subscription product". If you click on "Manage Account", it will take you to the Office 365 website.

- Login to Office 365 at https://office365.gatech.edu with your GT Account and GT Password.
- Click on gear icon in the top right corner and choose "Office 365 Settings".
- Click on Software.
- At the top, you will see your current activation.
How do I Get My Activation Back?
- Login to Office 365 at https://office365.gatech.edu with your GT Account and GT Password.
- Click on the gear icon to choose Office 365 Settings.
- Click on Software.
- At the top, you will see your current activity.
- Click “Deactivate” next to the installation to unactivate.
- Confirm that you want to deactivate this installation.
- You’ll see confirmation of this at the top.
