How to fix Office 365 Activation Blank Screen problem

Method 1: 

  1. You can also start the computer in clean boot mode and then try to check that the office suite is trying to activate.
  2. Starting a computer in clean boot mode will disable all non-Microsoft applications and antivirus which may be the cause of this problem.

Note: Ensure to restart your computer in normal mode after completing the troubleshooting steps. 

 Method 2: 

  1. If the problem persists, try creating a new Windows user account and then try Activating an office suite to check that it is working . To make it, follow the steps given below.
  2. Press Windows key and select Control Panel. 
  3. Click on User accounts and Family Safety. 
  4. Click on the user account and then click on Manage Accounts.
  5. Now click Add a new user and follow the instructions.
  6. Sign out of the current user account and log in using a new user account to activate Office 365. Check if the problem persists

How do I Check My Installation?     

  1. Open the Office 2016 Word application. 
  2. Choose a blank page. 
  3. Click Home to the top left and click on the account.
  4. In account, you will see that you are using "subscription product". If you click on "Manage Account", it will take you to the Office 365 website.

  6. Login to Office 365 at https://office365.gatech.edu with your GT Account and GT Password. 
  7. Click on gear icon in the top right corner and choose "Office 365 Settings".
  8. Click on Software. 
  9. At the top, you will see your current activation.

How do I Get My Activation Back? 

  1. Login to Office 365 at https://office365.gatech.edu with your GT Account and GT Password. 
  2. Click on the gear icon to choose Office 365 Settings. 
  3. Click on Software. 
  4. At the top, you will see your current activity. 
  5. Click “Deactivate” next to the installation to unactivate. 
  6. Confirm that you want to deactivate this installation. 
  7. You’ll see confirmation of this at the top.
