Windows 10 does not detect the malfunction of Bluetooth headphones frustrating many users who have upgraded to Windows 10 from Windows 8.1 / 8/7 / Vista / XP with the aspiration to a better Windows experience. In fact, problems with Bluetooth devices under Windows 10, such as Bluetooth headsets not recognized by Windows 10, problems with Bluetooth audio devices and wireless displays, Bluetooth headsets not working, computer speakers laptop not working after using headphones and the like, are never released many users of Windows 10.
- Turn on the headphones
The first thing to do is to turn on your headphones. The computer can not find the Bluetooth device if it is turned off.
- Check if the earphones are discovered by computer
After turning on the headset, check if the discovery settings are configured correctly or not. Incorrect settings would establish an unsuccessful connection. The steps to verify the settings depend on the version of Windows installed by your computer.

If you are using Windows 10, 8, and 8.1, follow these steps:
1) Click the Start button. Scroll down the menu and select Settings
2) Click Bluetooth in the left pane. In the right pane, make sure Bluetooth is enabled. Under “Related Settings,” click More Bluetooth Options.

3) Under “Discovery”, see if the check box “Allow Bluetooth devices to find this PC” is checked. If this box is not checked, check it and click the OK button to save the changes. If this box is checked, close the window and follow the steps below to connect your headset.
If you are using Windows 7, follow these steps
1) Click the Start menu button at the bottom left of the desktop.
2) Type “edit Bluetooth settings” in the search field and press the Enter key on your keyboard. Then the Blutooth Settings window will appear.
3) Under “Discovery”, see if the check box “Allow Bluetooth devices to find this PC” is checked. If this box is not checked, check it and click the OK button to save the changes. If this box is checked, close the window and follow the steps below to connect your headset.
3. After preparing both of the above, follow the steps below to connect your headset to your computer
1) Open the control panel:
1a) On your keyboard, simultaneously press the Win + R keys (Windows key and R key) to call the execution box.
2a) Tap the Control Panel and press Enter to open the Control Panel window.
2) Display in small icons and click Devices and Printers.
3) Click Add a device.
4) Select your bluetooth headphones and follow the on-screen instructions until you’re done and connected.
