The virtual desktop connection failed with the Status 1030 error codes being caused, one way or another, by misconfigured system files in your Windows operating system.
The 1030 error may be caused by damage to the Windows system files.
- Corrupted Windows system file entries can pose a real threat to the well-being of your computer. Several events may have resulted in errors in the system files.
- Incomplete installation, incomplete uninstallation, incorrect removal of applications or hardware.
- This can also be caused by recovering your computer after a virus attack, adware / spyware or an improper shutdown of the computer.
- All of the above assets may result in the removal or corruption of Windows registry entries.
- This corrupt registry will lead to missing and incorrectly linked information and files necessary for the proper functioning of the application.
Method 1 : Advanced Computer User Solution (manual update):
- Start your computer and log in as administrator.
- Click the Start button, select All Programs, Accessories, System Tools, and then click System Restore.
- In the new window, select the “Restore my computer to an earlier time” option, and then click Next.
- Select the most recent system recovery point from the “On this list, click a restore point” list, and then click Next.
- Click Next in the confirmation window.
- Restarts the computer when the restore is complete.
Method 2 : Delete files from previous installations before reinstalling
Software that has not been completely removed from Add / Remove Programs can create problems when you try to deploy software. Use the Microsoft Windows Installer Cleanup utility to remove traces of previous installations. This utility does not remove the files installed by the installation, which may need to be removed manually.
Method 3 : Make sure that the user account has administrative privileges to install the software.
- Select Start> Control Panel> Administrative Tools> Computer Management.
- In the Computer Management dialog box, click System Tools> Local Users and Groups> Users.
- Right-click your user name and select Properties.
- In the Properties dialog box, select the Member tab and make sure that it says “Administrator”.
