Epson Error Code 0x97 appears on the screen without warning; your printer will display a message to turn off your device and then turn it back on. The error code 0x97 usually appears in the middle of the printing process and stops it immediately. This error will continue to display until you correct this error and occur in the Epson Printer models, ie. Epson WF-3620, Epson WF-4630, etc. Here are some methods you can apply to solve the problem in Epson Printer.
Method 1: Unplug and Plug-in
The steps outlined below require technical knowledge to open and use your printer. If you are not sure, refer to the manual that came with your printer because the steps vary from model to model.
Step 1: Open the printer casing and check for any jammed papers or debris. If you find any, remove it.
Step 2: Remove all printing cartridges
Step 3: Unplug all the USBs and cables

Step 6: Turn on your printer and check for the error
Method 2: Unplug and Plug-in (Alternative)
This method is a variation of method 1. So, if method 1 does not work, try it to confirm whether the error is due to an internal hardware failure or not.
Step 1: Turn off your printer
Step 2: Unplug all cables
Step 3: Wait for 5 minutes
Step 1: Press and hold the power button for 60+ seconds (DO NOT release it)
Step 4: When the 60+ seconds have gone, plug in the power cable while keeping the power button pressed
Step 5: Hold the power button pressed for another 60+ seconds (after plugging in the power cable)
Step 6: Release the power button after 60 seconds of plug in
Step 7: Now check if the error code is still shown on the printer.
Method 3: Clean Mechanic Pad
Step 1: Turn off printer and unplug.
Step 2: Remove printer cover and casing.
Step 3: Wet tissue with warm water. Wipe cleaning pad.
Step 4: Leave wet tissue for a few minutes on the pad.
Step 5: Remove tissue and leave it to dry completely.
Step 6: Plug in and turn on printer. See if error persists.
Method 4: Troubleshooter and install missing drivers
