Method 1: Clear the Google Play cache

Method 2: Delete your account

  1. Go to System Settings> Account> Google and delete your Gmail account.

  4. Also press Force Stop.
  5. Repeat the previous two steps for Google Service Framework and Download Manager.
  6. Go to Settings> Accounts> Google and add your Gmail account again.
  7. Restart your phone or tablet
  8. Set up the device again, add your account and agree to the terms of use.
  9. Return to the Play Store and try to install an app to see if the error 495 from Google Play Store appears again.

 Method 3: Install a VPN
