Step 1: The user can follow the method mentioned to reset the virtual directories for client access. However, before performing the process, users must have an authorization.
- Start by opening the Exchange Management Console on your system.
- Select Server Configuration >> Client Access.
- Choose the server client access name and right-click on it.
Step 2: Now select the option to browse the reset virtual directory for access and choose the name of the virtual directory that the user must reset >> Next. By default, different directories will be listed.
Step 3: After adding the selected directory to the list of virtual directories to reset, click the following option.
Step 4: Browse the path and file name to specify the >> Next file.
Note: The user can use the same settings to rebuild the virtual directory. By default, all log files will be copied to the Client Access server document folder.
Step 5: Select the reset button in the virtual reset client access >> Finish directory.
Step 6: Reset Internet Information Services (IIS) by running the following command, that is, iireset / noforce at the command prompt.
