- Some Windows Installer components must be missing on your PC.
- Attack viruses or malware on your Windows system files or files associated with QuickBooks.
- QuickBooks incomplete or corrupted.

- Install the QuickBooks Diagnostic Tool:

- Go to Settings·
- Select Update and Security.

- After rebooting, install QuickBooks
- Install QuickBooks in “Selective Startup”

- The System Configuration Utility will open.

- Cancel all services and make sure the Windows Installer service is checked.

- Repair or reinstall Microsoft .NET Framework manually.
- Open the Control Panel.
- Select Uninstall a program.
- Select Enable or disable Windows features.
- Verify that the .NET Framework 4.5 is enabled. If so, first disable .NET Framework 4.5, restart your computer, and then re-enable it.
- Verify that .NET Framework 3.5 SP1 is enabled. If this is the case, first disable .NET Framework 3.5 SP1, restart your computer, and then re-enable it.
