  4. Select the Advanced tab and search for Security.
  5. Uncheck TSL 1.0 and select USE TLS 1.2
  6. Click Apply to save the changes.

Method 2: Create a new company file

  1. Open QuickBooks on your system.
  2. Go to the menu and then to the file.

  4. Click the Bank Feed Settings tab, and then click the Disable All Online Services button.
  5. Select the Save and Close button.
  6. Access the chart of accounts to create a new account.
  7. Paste the account name without the asterisk mark (*).
  8. Now close and reopen the company file.
  9. Go to Chart of Accounts, right-click the account with the asterisk, and select Edit Account.
  10. Delete the asterisk and select the Save and close option.
  11. Click Yes when required by the merge warning dialog box.
  12. Set up an account for bank flows.
  13. Download transactions to the newly merged account.
