Trend Micro Security did well as we compared the best antivirus software, in part. Because it earned a perfect score for malware detection and removal in our tests. And  did well in other third-party protection tests. For every malicious website, even though they doesn’t load on the site because it no longer exists or because it’s getting too much time.

Because the Edge does not allow third-party extensions in its browser, most antivirus programs can not stop it from downloading dangerous sites or downloading them in malware because the Edge is jumping into some security settings and it can happen. But Trend Micro was able to warn us about these threats with in-browser messages.

We highly recommend this software if you use Microsoft Edge to access the web. This is a huge plus and a feature several antivirus programs don’t have. While searching on the web, posting on social media or sending an email is not a problem, but while waiting for video and game to load and adding large files to outgoing emails, we experienced some drag.

This tool checks all the programs installed on your computer and lets you know if any need to be updated. Ransomware also takes advantage of these weak spots. Trend Micro Security also doesn’t have safe banking tools, a password manager or parental controls. However, there is tremendous micro compatible security in Internet protection programs that include all these tools.
