Remove leftover registry files

- Click Start> Run> Type regedit in the Run Forwarding box.

- Customize the name of the backup file
- Select a directory to save the file and click the Save button.
- When the backup is complete, browse to the registry key branch on the left and navigate to the HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ Software folder
- Right click on the webroot folder and select the “Delete” option
- Navigate to the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE folder.
- Right click on the webroot folder and select the “Delete” option
- Close the registry editor and reboot the system for the changes to take effect.
